The inauguration ceremony marks the successful completion of the construction phase and the beginning of a new chapter in Nereus Tyres' commitment to the ASEAN region.

The new plant, which represents an investment of $300 million, is a cornerstone of Nereus Tyres' strategy to enhance its global supply chain, increase production capacity, and better serve its growing customer base across Asia and beyond. Equipped with cutting-edge automation and Industry 4.0 technologies, the Cambodia factory is designed to meet the highest international standards for quality, efficiency, and environmental sustainability. The site incorporates advanced systems for energy conservation, water recycling, and emission control, aligning with Nereus Tyres' global commitment to responsible manufacturing.

From breaking ground to today's production start, this project has been a testament to the strong partnership we have built with the Royal Government of Cambodia and the incredible dedication of our team. This facility not only brings world-class tyre manufacturing to Cambodia but also strengthens our ability to deliver innovative and reliable products to our customers with greater agility.

The plant is expected to create over 2000 direct employment opportunities for the local community, with a strong focus on skills training and career development for Cambodian talent. Nereus Tyres has implemented comprehensive training programs to ensure its workforce operates the sophisticated machinery to the highest safety and quality standards.

With an annual production capacity of 12 million tyres (implemented in two phases), the Cambodia factory will primarily serve export markets in the ASEAN region, Europe, and North America, reinforcing Nereus Tyres' position as a truly global tyre provider.
